Oily Skin Treatment

“Oily Skin Treatment”
Do you know your skin type? Believe it or not, so many individuals have no idea what skin type they have. Hey, it’s time to find out. Knowing and understanding your skin is crucial in taking care of it properly. I used to be burdened by patches of dryness. However when I found a good aftershave and moisturizer, this dilemma subsided. It’s all about using the right treatments. A large number of people, who suffer from severe acne, may have oily skin. This means they need an oily skin treatment. It’s time to consult your local doctor or dermatologist and find out your skin type, and how to deal with any skin afflictions you may have. Come on, this is your face we’re talking about here.

Okay, so maybe you know you have oily skin. Are you constantly grappling with acne and severe break-outs? This can be controlled with the right oily skin treatment. First of all, what do you wash your face with? Are you using a gentle, yet skin-clearing cleanser. You want one that rids your mug of bacteria and oil, but doesn’t strip your face and make it dry. There are some decent ones at your local drugstore. Check out what Neutrogena has to offer. A second oily skin treatment is topical. Once you’ve cleansed your face, you may want to use a topical cream, toner, or gel. This will help exfoliate and keep your pores clear throughout the day. You certainly want to prevent those breakouts, and not have to battle them after eruption has occurred. One thing that many individuals with oily skin do not understand is maintenance. Sure, you want to keep your skin clean and clear, but you don’t want to overdo it. Washing the face twice a day is plenty. Avoid rubbing and using hot water. This will only irritate and dry out your face. One of the best oily skin treatments is to use tepid water and pat the face dry with a clean towel. Be gentle!

Do you suffer from breakouts and a shiny mug? If you haven’t already found the right oily skin treatment on your own, then it is probably time to seek the help of a professional. You may in fact need a prescription treatment for your face. With proper cleansing and the right oily skin treatment, you can get that beautiful skin back.

What Causes Acne

“WHAT CAUSES ACNE”
Have you ever wondered what causes acne? Well if you’re like me and suffer from acne outbreaks on a regular basis, I’m sure you’ve spend quite a lot of time wondering what causes acne, and even more time trying to get rid of it. What causes acne is one of those questions mankind has been trying to answer ever since the last ice age ended, and although we have some sound theories on the subject now we still have a ways to go.

Trying to determine what is causing your acne is definitely a good place to start. What causes acne is a hard question to answer definitively, as there seem to be a lot of possible causes. Most of the theories on what causes acne have focused on three different areas; skin cleanliness, diet, stress, hormones and genetics. The likely answer is that acne is caused by some combination of some or all of these components in most cases.

Because there are several different root sources behind what causes acne, everyone’s acne is probably somewhat unique. For instance, I think my own acne is mostly related to stress and genetics. I use several different acne skin care products and still get outbreaks, though if I don’t take good care of my skin I certainly get a lot more. My diet has never seemed to effect my acne in the least.

Having at least some idea of what causes acne for me, it’s a lot easier to avoid it. I know that if I take measures to lower stress I’ll have much fewer outbreaks. That’s why I’ve incorporated regular exercise and good sleep hygiene into my acne treatment regiment, and it seems to have worked quite well. There does seem to be a hormonal and genetic component to it as well, as some amount of acne occurs even during periods of low stress. Fortunately, its not so severe that I feel the need to pursue more vigorous treatment methods, and I’ve simply come to accept a small amount of acne as inevitable in my life.

If you are suffering from severe or even moderate acne, its probably worth a trip to a dermatologist. A good dermatologist can answer a lot of questions you have about what causes acne and how to get rid of it. There are also a number of good prescription creams and medications that can be used to stop acne. Be warned, however, these medications are not without side effects!

The Best Acne Skincare

The best acne skin care begins with you. The right attitude should complement the proper treatment and preventive measures. If you content yourself with using anti-acne products sold commercially, you may not be in the right track to fight back against it. Acne strikes at anyone even if you’re way over puberty. The best acne skin care is treating acne from the inside out.

Must-eat fruits for acne

Begin with these must-eat fruits as part of your best acne skin care: eat at least 2 apples a day; consume as many apricots as you want; one banana a day helps your digestive system; blackberries, blueberries and cherries aid in ridding the blood of wastes; cantaloupes are high in vitamins A and C as well as other minerals that help in the treatment of skin problems. Figs contain high fiber that are good for digestion; grapefruits help eliminate toxins from drugs to improve liver function; grapes help in building new blood cells; mango neutralize acid waste; strawberries contain anti-acne enzymes; while pineapples has papain that help to metabolize protein.

Fruits in general have excellent cleansing agents and vitamins and minerals that hasten the body’s recovery against infections, including acne. So eating fruits many times a day should be part of a best acne skin care regimen.

Go herbal

The best acne skin care you can offer yourself is probably an herbal treatment. It is inexpensive and doesn’t contain harsh substances that leave pollutants in your body in contrast to your doctor’s prescription drugs. Plus, they are right over your kitchen!

Be among the thousands of people in the world who revere basil as a sacred herb. It’s famous in the treatment of skin disorders, in case you don’t know. Drink it (like tea) or apply it topically, use olive or virgin coconut oil as base. The results will tell you.

Sandalwood and neem are renowned as best acne skin care treatment. Both have antibacterial properties that treat acne before it develops. Use them as a paste and apply liberally on affected and surrounding areas.

Aside from the abovementioned best acne skin care treatments, combating acne means clearing your face of dirt and excess oil. Choose mild cleansers that contain a few percentages of benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. These help relieve sores and lesions. If it’s necessary for you to use moisturizers, get the ones that are non-comedogenic. Use only oil-free make-up as these can block pores.

The best acne skin care treatment begins with you. Living a healthy lifestyle (bet you know what healthy is) and in harmony with nature (get enough sleep) will surely benefit you entirely.

What’s the best acne cure?

To consider the lengths we go to to find acne cures is to take us in the direction of the latest skin care efforts. I hate to have to report on what I just read about, but it all comes with the territory of researching skin care and acne cures and the like: there is a cosmetics firm in China (which sells to Europe) that is using dead skin to develop beauty products. Maybe this is not all that remarkable, but the company is using the skin of those who died by execution. The cosmetics firm reportedly uses the skin of “condemned convicts” who have been shot in their developing of products such as lip collagen treatments and wrinkle treatments.

Some of their products have already been circulated, evidently, having been exported to England. When challenged, company heads respond that this practice is “traditional”, says a writer for LBN (Levine Breaking News). They also say that there is “nothing to ‘make such a big fuss about.’” But as the same writer tells it, there are ethical concerns for those developing and then for those using the products. As well, the reporter notes that there is “potential risk of infection” for those indulging in the “harvested” skin care products.

Maybe the company and others like it have no qualms about ethics or health. Maybe the same have nothing to do with acne cures. Then again, maybe the offenders are ushering in the Soylent Green era, using the flesh of the dead for gain. Possibly, they are bringing on a new wave of illnesses or diseases. What concerns us should therefore be what goes into all our youth recouping, our beauty regimes, our acne cures.

Yes, when we have the frustrating external flaws of acne—whether we are teens or twenty-somethings or pregnant mothers of stressed out fathers—we are inclined toward extreme solutions. We will go to great lengths to normalize, to clear up skin and fit in with the beautiful people, the unscathed, the oil-free. We will try the OTC (over-the-counter) acne cures, will resort to homemade acne cures, will suffer ourselves to the experimental acne cures of the innovations of science and medicine. Hell, when I was a teenager with insufferable zits galore, I succumbed to the “latest” acne cures, using strengths of Tetracycline that could cure twenty strep viruses at once, using lemons and vinegar and scrubs with sand in them (it felt like), and using what the doctor prescribed before it was fully tested: Retin-A, a solution we mixed with straight Vodka and burned away layers of dermis with.

But I am concerned and curious as to what I would do today if someone offered me acne cures in a bottle or jar that had on its ingredients list an item too closely resembling the dead skin of a criminal’s ass. Okay, so we forego the ethics, and we let go of the “silly” fuss over health issues. What about the cosmic passing of an evil soul or an unjustly convicted, condemned, and executed woman or man by way of her or his skin through our pores?
