The problem of dry skin feet is very common but very painful, upsetting and unattractive especially to those women or ladies who loved to wear sandals. The treatments for dry skin feet can be easily applied as dry skin feet can easily be eliminated. A dry skin feet is usually caused by excessively drying and cracking of skin. However, for those people who lived in winter areas and dry climates, dry feet can be a problem as well.

Unfortunately, the dry skin feet can worsen and becomes more difficult to treat since regular dry skin moisturizers cannot penetrate the dead, thick and dry skin of a dry skin feet. In relieving your dry skin feet, one effective way to do this is to use good therapeutic creams and ointments, which will help the prevention and cracking. Prevent yourself from using lotion for your dry skin feet as sometimes lotions do contain alcohol that actually dries the skin even more.

Aside from the applications of good therapeutic creams and ointments onto your dry skin feet, you may also do additional therapies as well. These therapies include the use of sand stone or pumice stone in filing the hard dry skin as this allows the moisturizers to penetrate the skin better, you may also use creams that are specifically designed for night time use and wear socks to help the cream be absorbed by the dry skin areas of your feet, and you may also check your shoes for areas that rub and tight spots.
