Dry skin soap

Dry skin soap

Dry skin is not an enjoyable thing to have nor to look at. When one has dry skin, it looks scaly and parched, or may even be look cracked, since it is unable to retain much needed moisture. It also feels like it’s drawn tighter and has an uncomfortable feel even after washing, unless skin cream or moisturizing is applied. Many factors contribute to the dryness of the skin. It can even be made worse by wind, excessive air-conditioning or extreme weather conditions.

If your skin is looking dull, and your expression lines starting to show, chances are, your skin is already dehydrated and you need to get yourself a good brand of dry skin soap. Remember that washing dry skin with normal soap and water, although it will certainly make your skin clean, will also strip it of its natural oils which protect it, leaving it dry and irritated. This is why you still need moisturized or lotion afterwards- to replenish the lost natural oils that you just lost.

Of course, this problem wouldn’t exist if in the first place, you used dry skin soap. What makes this type of soap so special? And how does it differ from using just any commercial soap? Commercial soaps like deodorant soap, or any soap which has a combination of detergents and preservatives, as these are usually high in alkaline levels or are made of ingredients with high alkaline content. Dry skin soap, on the other hand, is more neutral. These soaps are gentle, super fatted, and contain more than a third of moisturizers. Glycerin soaps are great, since they help retain moisture and in reversing the effects of having dry skin. If you’re worried that your skin will not be properly cleansed using dry skin soap, try looking for something which has citrus enzymes, as these are better at removing dead skin cells and other deposits on your skin’s surface, which may be causing its dull pallor. Other alternatives are hard-milled face soaps as well as the gentler type of synthetic detergent, which relieve dry skin symptoms.

It is also recommended, aside from using the right kind of soap and beauty products, to eat a balanced diet. Load up on vegetables, fruits, nuts, and other food sources which provide you with quality protein. More importantly, remember to hydrate! Water is a good way to keep your skin looking supple and healthy.
